As you know, I am hosting a classroom elf this year. My studenents watched An Elf's Story on DVD, then wrote letters to Santa requesting an Elf on the Shelf for our classroom. We had heard that some elves were naughty and caused mischief, so we asked Santa to send us a well-behaved elf that could follow all the rules. Our elf arrived via "Special Delivery" from Santa and we immediately named him Nicholas. As promised, Nicholas does not cause a single classroom antic. Each day, he simply found a new location in the classroom to keep watch while he collected observations for his nightly report to Santa. I snapped some photos of our friend each time he visited the classroom. Check out where he has been.
After a particularly difficult day of observing poor classroom choices, Nicholas returned with a warning from Santa…
I wonder where our elf will pop up next!
